ELIMINATING CARELESS ERROR Author, James Watt, is a freelance artist whose formal education is as a classical musician, French Horn.   He enjoys Mathematics as a hobby.  For the last 14 years he has taught hundreds of children in an after-school art program he designed.   Samples of his student's work can be seen by clicking here. www.childrensart.net.  From a very early age he found he was good at art, selling his first drawings professionally while still in jr. high school.  While spending a total of 12 years in both U.S. Army and Marine Corps bands, he continued to do freelance art on the side.  After leaving the service, he spent the next 20 years as a full-time freelance artist, doing both humorous illustration and highly detailed architectural drawings.  Clients have included McDonald's Corp., General Electric, various textbooks, architectural, and humorous illustrations for advertising, magazines and greeting cards.  He currently divides his time between writing, illustrating and teaching children's after-school art classes.

Watt discovered his talent for mathematics late in life.   ELIMINATING CARELESS ERROR rose from working on the unresolved number theory problem of factoring large pseudoprimes.   Additionally, he has had two geometry theorems acknowledged in a written second opinion by Dr. H.S.M. Coxeter, (the geometer 'emeritus' of the world) as "New and superior to Euclid's original solutions".
